I had pink hair just like 3 months ago. It was awesome when I first got it, then it kinda got lame so I dyed my hair back brown.
Anyways, my point is, that everyone is dying their hair pink because I had pink hair back when, and I'm so cool and trendy that everyone wants to be like me. Sooner or later everyone will start dying their hair light brown, to be like me.

I had my hair dyed with pink streaks a few years ago for fun. It wasn't to prove anything or to get attention, it was just because I like the colour a lot. It was really fun while I had it. I had light pink at first, but it washed out in about a week so I got fuschia the next time. I liked it.

My point in posting that is...not everybody who dyes their hair does it to be 'rebellious' or for attention. You would do best not to judge people for their decisions, because you really don't know what you're talking about.
