Rusutsu Japan

I was invited to go to Rusutsu on the 27th of dec to through the 4th of Jan. What Can I expect snow wise? I heard that they are know for tree skiing, any good runs or areas in the resort for trees (or in general). I’ve never been skiing in Japan before and d im stupid hyped, any info you’re willing to give would be much appreciated. Thanks +k
