For all of you who don't know what he is talking about, Biblical prophecies say that the Antichrist will be named Mabas (Mahoud Abbas) and he will form a pact with the Jews, be assasinated, only to live, then the world will end in 2012. 2012 is also significant to a number of other groups of people like Indians and the Aztec or Mayan calendar ends in 2012.

skihobo, where in the Bible does it say the name of mabas? ive learned quite a bit of escatology (study of the end times) asa Christian, and nowhere in the Bible does it say the anti-christs name, or any dates. Even Christ himself says that no man knoweth the day or hour at which he will return and the antichrist will come. The specific information such as name and date are pure conjecture from people who think they are psychic. for years people who think they know better have said thye know when Christ will come back (the rapture preceeds the antichrist). books such as: 76 reasons Christ will return in '76 and 77 reasons why christ will return in '77 are both good examples that anyone who says they know when the end times are going to start is full of it. also, people in the past have thought the antichrist was the pope, hitler, stalin, bill clinton etc... and those werent true
i also checked for several variations of 'mabas' in an electronic Bible on my comp, and nothing. so tell we, whats going on? also, eastern eurpoe seems to be more of a region the antichrist is to come from, i think from the remnants of the roman empire according to Daniel, but thats still in dispute. so like i said, we know nothing of who he is.
id figure someone who knows what theyre talking about should chime in
