Wild mtn is opening sunday, Troll is trying to open sunday, a snowstorm rolled through and its only october. Looks like La Nina may cooperate with us this year.

It is awesome Minnesota has a forecast for snow all week and we already got some can’t wait to get my new skis Mounted instead of using my old k2s

From what I've learned, early cold temps in October / November doesn't always equate to a good winter season for the midwest & east coast. I'm stoked to hear there's already some places opening up, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too soon...

West of Duluth about 15 miles we measured just under a foot of snow. It'll be gone pretty quick cause the grounds not frozen at all. Even tho we have night lows in low 20's or upper teens Spirit will probably still wait till end of November to start blowin snow.

Small setups are going down at Troll/Wild Mountain today east of the cities. Nobody will completely open for a few weeks but a few rails is better than nothing

Yeah, trying to not get my hopes up too soon. Hard not to though with snow already down and more in the forecast. Anything better than last years winter is welcome.

From what I know, we have almost half the amount of snow already in the cities than we did all of last year lmao so the midwest will take anything this year. Snow is snow
