East Coast trip

Hey everyone, from western New York and looking to do an east coast trip this winter in January. When it comes to a park scene as well as good overall variability on the mountain where are the best resorts to go to? All suggestions appreciated. I read the Best East Coast parks thread, was just curious of some other great east coast locations that didn't make the list.

mt snow or loon for park id say, jay peak and magic mtn and a couple others for all mtn stuff. maine has some great places too, sugarbush (loaf? ill die not knowing which is which), saddleback is sick

idk im sure im blanking on several but that's a start

Jay peak's park is pretty meh but you won't care. Especially if it's in late February early March. Definitely deserves a spot on the list

From personal experience @park I would say:

Mt. Snow
Killi
Loon
Nashoba
Bush
Waterville
Sunapee (local bias)
Okemo (sometimes)

No order priority, but these have the best parks I've skied.

For terrain:
Jay
Stowe
Mad River Glen
Cannon
Ragged

Haven't been to a ton of mountains for the terrain so I'm missing a ton, but these are all legit.

Depends on what you are looking to focus on. EC has better parks than terrain if you compare both of them to out west.
Highly recommend Bush, Sunapee, and Snow for rails. Okemo, Waterville, Loon and Snow have the best jumps.

Youre falling into the green mountain trap, yes vermont is fun but they have been getting so much publicity lately that NH and ME havent been highlighted than they did in years past. Branch out and explore.

A trip to Killington is deffentally worth it. Favorite vt park by far for me. Otherwise mt.snow and sugarbush. I can't speak for the NH and ME stuff but it looks pretty sweet.

Came here to say this.
Close to Quebec city:
Mont Saint-Anne has sick all mountain and rail park.
Massif de Charlevoix also has sick all mountain and ok park but excellent glades. If it dumps one day go there.
Stoneham has pretty sick park. 22' pipe (which you and most people probably don't care about).
Relais - small mountain but park looks really sick

Now closer to Montreal you have:
Mont Tremblant - really nice mountain, good park, great apres and ski village but could get really crowded on weekends.
Saint - Sauveur / Avila. Small mountain, cool park but gets somewhat busy on weekends

Definitely make your way up to Sugarloaf it can get cold but its some of the best east coast skiing you're gonna get and if you're up there you should definitely just keep going and hit some of the Quebec mountains

If you have the time, I would check out Sunday River and Sugarloaf in Maine. They have some great all mountain terrain. I saw Saddleback mentioned in some earlier comments, and it is no longer open at the moment, they are working to reopen this year, but I wouldn't plan on it, they have been closed since 2015 I believe and if they do open they have already stated some of the lifts won't open due to disrepair and one needing to be replaced. However, the other two are for sure worth the trip.
