I think they are fine. I would never use or buy one because they are a bit nutty, but im sure they have their uses with some individuals transportation situations

Super pricey but they look fun. Does have nice hardware though with caliber trucks and Orangatang Kegel 80mm so at least you’re getting good shit for the price. I’d like to ride it and try it out before purchasing.

I have an electric skateboard for commuting it's pretty fun. It's not a boosted I couldn't afford their ridiculous prices and belt drive is not as good of a system.

Theres a pretty big network of biking trails right by my house so I don't have to ride on the street very much.

anyone that thinks there dumb either doesn't longboard or has never used an electric one. Who wants to push there way around on a longboard? No one, they want to cruise. I bought a used boosted board for 500 over a year ago and have put 2000 miles on it with no problems. I save 5$ each day not having to take the bus to work and my commute is actually a good time. Riding a bike sucks after hoping on an electric skateboard, they're the future!

As someone who has tried a boosted board and longboard quite a bit, I would much rather push my way to class and have the ability to freestyle and work up a sweat without babying my board, than ride around on a four wheeled segway.

But that's just my opinion

i want to get one of these. Anybody know if the boosted plus has a longer range than the boosted stealth? The plus goes 22 mph tops and the stealth does 24 mph, so im wondering if the stronger stealth motor gets less milage. Otherwise i want the stealth because at 24 mph your not really slowing down traffic in the city or the neighborhood.

Their target audience consists mostly of people who have never stepped foot on a regular skateboard/longboard in their lives. They’re just bird scooters without handle bars. They enable completely inexperienced riders to achieve speeds that they should not be going. Instagram is filled with these kinds of videos:

Skated in my youth and still push around and goof off when I can on a traditional. I have one of these and they are great for vacations or transportation. Get to enjoy much more new places faster. I'm 41 so life doesn't revolve around a kick flip or perception of image.

I used to be big into longboarding and at that point I thought they were a waste of money bc you could buy a similarly fast/convenient pushing setup for less, even though you couldn't go up hills so quickly. Also, the people who rode them never were really part of the actual longboarding community. Nowadays I'm so sick of having to push my longboard up hills to commute that I'd be down to have one, and it actually seems like a really dope (and relatively cheap) alternative to a car or bike if you do everything in a crowded city.
