TGR's "Rogue Elements"

My university put on a premiere of this movie last night, and I thought I was stoked to ski before....I'm now a little boy a Christmas morning before opening presents.

I'd give the movie 9/10. Highly, highly recommend buying. John Collinson's segment was absurd. McNutt is the smoothest person I've ever seen in the back and side country. And the mountain bike down Corbet's?!? Not everyone I talked to was as stoked on the movie as I. What were your thoughts?

JnetsWas anyone else disappointment Tim Durtsch only had one segment? And McNutt was smooth af but they could of had more shots of him.


The McNutt segment was probably my favorite part.

okay so Im two months late but whoever edited this movie mirrored shots so that they would seem like they were done unatty. Artsy is fine, but someone needed to tell the editor to not do that shit. I fuck w sean J but if you let someone drop mirrored clips of you, you are just as responsible, even if you make the argument that the segment wasn't supposed to be "reality". Obviously the movie was never gonna be like really sick and i didnt expect that, but come on.

Could you better explain what you mean. I'm reading this as TGR edited shots to make it look like athletes spun unnatural when in reality they didn't... am I getting that right? Like they take a shot and flip it so it's mirrored, and looks like an skier is sliding a rail with an unnatural stance or spinning their unnatural direction? Cuz that's wack

If that is true, I doubt he had any say/knowledge of flipped shots until he saw the movie. Athletes, especially urban athletes for TGR, generally don't stand behind the editor and look over their shoulder.
