Hi, I am moving to Vancouver in December and I was wondering if people know where I can find those good urban spots?

A Vancouverite can correct me if I'm wrong but i don't think the snow lasts in Vancouver. Last year was the first time in a while that it actually did stay and not melt immediately

Oh shit, I thought because of how close it is to Whistler it would be okay..

Ya I'm pretty sure the snow melts quick in the city. But there's grouse (mountain) that is just outside Van that seems to have slushy conditions very often.
No/minimal urban skiing may suck but living close to big mountains definitely does not suck hahah

Plenty of classic urban in vancouver. If it doesn't snow, just get arena snow and go for it. Watch old Theory 3 movies, search Delbrook, have fun

There's no snow in Van .. and there's hardly any urban in Whistler either best to go to Calgary

Im in the same boat surrounding urban in van. just pray for good snow and it's pretty easy to find spots. hmu if you have a more specific area in mind

The north shore (north van + west van) is pretty much the only place in van to hit urban I would recommend looking at schools cuz a lot of them are built pretty high up and there's usually at least a couple weeks to hit them, I usually hit sentinel and west van secondary
