Looking for that East Coast Freeride Ski

Hey NS, looking for a directional ski for some east coast freeriding. I currently have 171 Line Chronics for park but I hate charging hard on a center mounted ski and they feel pretty out of place on some of the east coasts "burly" terrain like Tuckermans and the like. Im 5'7 and weigh about 155, im an advanced skier looking for something to rip tight tree lines, some cliffs, and some moguls, in less than ideal east coast conditions. Preferably something stiff with a little bit of rocker. Ive been checking out the ON3P Wrenegade 88 in 174 or 179 but I feel like I might want a little bit more waist, any thoughts or reccomendations would be great, thanks!

How fat are you trying to go? Might look at just a fatter Wrenegade? or the Head Core 105, Sego Cleaver 102, or others?

I dont think I really want to go over 100 at the waist but maybe the wren 98 would be a good option, Im definitely concerned with good performance and shitty conditions, so I feel like >100 may be a little too much on those firmer days.

When I was living on the east coast my "big skis" were the 95mm Line Sick days. Rocker, camber, Rocker, directional but you can ski em switch, super chargey and fun. I even skied them my first year out west, now they are my early season/rock skis.

Line Supernatural 95 maybe? Or the Armada Invictus 95 (or the stiffer 99ti). Or Jskis Masterblaster.

When I was living back east I had a pair of 90 mm skis as my everyday...directional and pretty stiff held an edge well. Surface skis which I loved.

Also had a pair of Pow skis that were 108 underfoot...again surface skis which was more than fine for pow days east coast and when I went out west. Wouldnt really go that much bigger unless you have some money to blow on a quiver.

Moment Tahoe in a 178 would be rad. I picked up a lightly used pair midway through last season and have no fucking regrets. I picked them up for spring time conditions which I guess you could call east coast-ish. They have no speed limit on groomers, are super easy in tight trees, and have a really nice feel/powerful tail which slays in bumps.

Damn the tahoe looks like a sick ski, is the whole moment triple camber thing just a gimmick or does it actually play a role in how the ski perfoms?

It holds a good edge, I don't know if that's because of triple camber or because it's well designed. It's just a good ski.
