Shipping ski boots internationally

I am going to school in norway and my new boots arrived at my house a week after I left. UPS quoted me like $400 to ship them from the US, and I am wondering if any of you have used https://www.sendmybag.com/ before. Any info would be much appreciated.

Most of those shipping services (I've used bikeflights.com for bikes before) do a great job at a reasonable cost. With that said, there are usually customs and duty fees related. You can claim the value of your stuff at 0 dollars (or label it a gift) to avoid customs/duty fees, but if it get's lost you won't receive insurance compensation.
