Skora89Holy shit. That "max comfort" fitment.
The.Fishthis photo should be self explanatory to those who know bootfitting
DominatorJacquesWow that's totally nuts! Zero control right there. Your skiing is going to improve big time now with a boot that fits. A good fit takes several days of skiing before it get sweet though. You gotta' get through that "break-in" period.
The.Fishi have a super wide foot so I atleast had lateral control. It was rather hard to flex the boot even though it is a soft 80 or something like that (dalbello voodoo). I bought the boots hoping my feet would grow a little and the liner wasn’t packed down so it felt like what i wanted. Unfortunately my feet didn’t grow and the liner packed out really thin and i got a ton of shin bang and discomfort in general with my lower leg when flexing forward or backwards
DominatorJacquesWell, that why you have your foot measured. Then you get the right last be it narrow or wide. Super important besides length.
The.Fishi got the things when I was a freshman in high school at a ski swap for $75. It was my 2nd year of skiing I believe so I didn’t know much. I did recognize that they had a wide last which i needed for my ridiculously wide foot.
The.FishWow it looks like I get to remount my bindings since my bsl will shrink too much for my adjustable heel pieces... may just do it myself, not worth $50 for 5 min of work.
skidemon22unless you have a jig and the right tools and the right knowledge/ experience, it is worth the $50. but, just ask the shop you get the boots from if they will do it for half price since you are buying the boots

The.FishOh don’t worry, I bargained with the new shop I am getting fitted at and they are hooking me up with the remount. First time working with a ski shop that cares about customer care over money. Its a good feeling.
