Does anyone have recommendations for any normal single colored jackets on the market right now that aren't cut weird? I feel silly making a post like this, but I am actually having a really tough time finding what I'm looking for.

if youre looking for more classic/conservative cuts and fits, just look at "normal" companies that arent newschool related. tons of normal jackets out there and a lot of times youll find better utility/price ratio because theyre less trendy companies

I was in the same boat. Ended up trying on a million jackets at sports basement, looking for something that fit well and wasn't $400. Bought a north face jacket, solid blue, enough room in the shoulders, enough ''features'' ie: pockets, hood, about $150 ish on sale. I'm not much of a brand whore. There are brands that I won't wear because of experience with quality or fit and also brands associated with particular groups of people with whom I don't want to be associated.
Just go to a mainstream store?

i know that bonfire outerwear is more of a snowboard-oriented apparel company, but i bought one of their jackets and they do wonders - nice cut, many pockets, ans cool colour patterns.
you should rlly check it out.

Volcom L Jacket. Gore Tex, straight cut, blue, looks good, and under $300.
