Line Chronic vs Blend

This season I'm looking to get some new skis. I like the Line Blends and Chronic but I can't find anything comparing them. I am an east coast skier and ski about 60% mountain and 30% park. Any thoughts?

Chronic is a more all-mountain ski and stiffer than the blends. The Blends are super soft so while going fast, you will experience them chatering or speed wobbles. so unless you want some noodles go with the Chronics

I am on blends from chronics and ski mostly Michigan. Blend had a little more underfoot and more energy. Biggest difference I notice is more spring forward on landings.

For the east coast I'd go with the Chronic. It's a great all-around ski, I've skied it all of last year and while I mostly ski park, it really does perform well outside the park. It's stable and I find that the 92 waist is just perfect for every condition

^ all really good feedback. Similar construction with the Chron skinnier & stiffer and Blend wider and butterryy er, both rad skis but comes down to preference. thanks!

I have both these skis. I would go with chronics. blends do just fine in the park but I like riding my chronics more in the park because of the underfoot and they're less floppy for big jumps. chronics are a little more symmetrical too I'm pretty sure.

and for riding the mountain I've found that blends don't handle very well on icey or chundery shit. the noses are a little soft for anything but soft/medium conditions. kind of hard to control in bumps and trees if the snow is shitty. chronics will probably hold up better in east coast conditions, but they don't float super well in deep snow like the blends do.

Skied both as well and own blends. The chronics are more stable and better on ice. I've always had more fun on the blends but they really are super flexy. When there is snow I like the blends much better for landing off natural shit and obviously are better in powder. Both skis do fine in the park imo but chronics are stiffer and more stable. I don't really mind skiing fast with my blends even tho there definitely is tip chatter and prefer owning them over chronics for the days that there actually is snow. Overall the chronics are better for east coast conditions like ice and are better going fast with less snow.

I've never got to ski chronics, but ill say my blends are in the top two skis I've ever owned. Very playful but still float through the softer snow. amazing in spring conditions. Fun in the park, great all over the mountain.

Honestly the Blends are great for all mountain. I've skied in everything you can possibly ski in on mine and always with ease. They've been through the worst and greatest conditions and have made what would usually be really shit days really fun. I'd recommend Blends 100% despite the Chronics being stiffer

Check the Arv96.. it's kind of the perfect middle.. I can't say I've ridden them but man do they seem to be popular.
I would imagine they are stiffer than the blends but still soft enough to play around on

I own a pair and can confirm this. In my opinion, perfect amount of flex. But although its marketed as an all mountain ski, its really more suited to park

If you ski mostly mountain, i look elsewhere than the chronics. The skis are quite soft and will likely feel unstable while travelling at high speeds.

i ski grouse and im like 120 lbs should i get blends or chronics
