Transferring custom footbeds. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work/wouldn't be desirable?
So I have a pair of boots that I have absolutely loved for the past several seasons. Unfortunately, they're pretty beat now and definitely at the end of their life cycle. I've been pretty brutal on them. So I decided to buy another pair of the same exact boots. My question is, is there any reason that I should get new custom footbeds rather than simply taking my old custom footbeds out of the old boots and re-heat molding them into the new boots? Thanks gear nerds
They are the same boot so fitment won't be an issue. Unless you feel they aren't supporting you as well due to wear/time I don't see a reason to replace them with new.
SessionFootbeds generally should work for you for a few pairs of boots through the years
Thanks guys, I thought this would be the case but I figured I’d ask because these are the first custom footbeds I’ve ever owned and still don’t know much about them. I’m gonna go ahead and do it, the footbeds are still in fine shape
