mttobrnI was wondering if any MSU students have recommendations for the dorms on campus, ill be going next semester as a junior and im not sure where the best place to live is.

J_SRookie seems to be the favorite but communal bathroom sounds like a pain. Reslife seems like a good option but can anyone fill me in?
ZypherWangford is just a bunch of dudes but you get a big room
The Nasty North has nice rooms and is Co-ed which is pretty nice
The Dirty South is pretty close to North, Co-ed and has nice rooms
Potski is by far the most lively imo and Co-ed as well. Room setup is kinda cool or funky depending on how you look at it but overall very chill (and the best front desk)
Yellowstone has the nicest rooms by far but is more expensive than the other options.
Res Life and LGBTQ Apartments are cool but a bit more of a walk from everything. The LGBTQ Apartments are "meant" for the LGBTQ community but theyre really just co-ed apartments with big ass rooms and a nice kitchen.
Im currently in Roskie and like it alot. Pod System is pretty cool and you get used to the room size after a little while. There is also Fraternities across campus if you're into that

Got any more info on res life? Would I be better off somewhere more in the middle of campus or should I just go for it because of the kitchen/bathroom/good rooms
gak98Res Life is fucking weird man just gonna be straight up there just live in the droms if youre under 20 and get some rooommates and find a place if youre above thats basically what everyone does

csdavidson18I was in north hedges last year and it was cool they had a waxing room. Also heard really rad things about roski sounds like a real good time. I'd shoot for there if I were going back to the dorms

OP, whatever you do...do not go with a random roommate. It will not work out and you will hate your life. Especially if you are a couple years older like me.

gak98Dude it doesn’t matter roommate tbh you’re either going to hate them or love them at the end of the year and unless you’re moving in with someone close to you which sounds like you’re not Just chance it. It could be luck of the draw put in my pod in roskie all of the roommates in our group that were random are like my best friends
