Binding question - Pivot 12's

hey all, I recently picked up a new pair of skis along with a set of Pivot 12's. I am around 6' 210lbs, ski mostly all mtn and park. According to the shop I went to, the 12's would be all I need and 14's wouldn't be worth the extra $$, but my last set had Solomon sth2 WTR 16's (wasn't crazy about them + they were my first set of bindings on twin tips so I was a newb at the time) and were set around 10... my concern is that the 12 DIN may not be high enough being that I've read that you don't want to be within 2 of the max DIN setting but i have also read that on the Pivot's you can get away with setting about 1 DIN lower. thanks for the help NS

You will be fine with the 12s, it's not worth buying a new set of 14s until you need them.

If you are riding at din 12 you are probably absolutely shredding. You will be fine setting it at 10.
