Armada ARV 86 / 96 All-montain skiing help

I am male 178cm 70kg. I dont know what kinda skis i want. I am looking into Amada ARV 86 or 96s and the seem pretty sweet. Mainly using for going down the slopes jumping everywhere and joing off piste, something i love. I know the 96s are a bit wider and floats better off pist but does it matter that much? Its only like 10mm wider.

can anyone compare these skis to the Line Blend or OG Atomic Punx (2011-2013)?

When you say 40% slopes, do you mean strictly groomers? If so, how much snow do you get?How many of these days include a powder day? How deep is the snow off piste? Do you hike to these off piste areas, or are they off the back of a resort/ out of bounds. Do you prefer a wider ski or more narrow for the park? Do you hit rails or primarily jumps? The ARV has a thinner than optimal edge, which may be an issue if you're hitting rails all day long.

Need more info, but in general I would say go with the 96 for all around performance.

I've read many reviews where people complain that the 96 isn't enough in anything more than 6-12 inches of snow. Granted, you could still do it- just might require more effort. Do you have a wider ski for those deep days?

I dont hike, and I'm looking for a one do it all ski. I've recently also looked into the K2 Poacher 2018. Ive skied off pist on a 99mm the last years and its been just fine because its semi close the slopes.

re: 86 vs 96 i say 96. great do-it-all size. will help you in softer snow/off-piste and you will never notice a downside in the park. tons of park riders use skis in the 90s nowadays, imo the only time id even want something skinnier is if i was a pipe jock
