Marker Squires Good Park Bindings?

Hey I just purchased a pair of marker squire bindings and was wondering if they are durable and good for park. I like to go hard and push myself in the park so did I purchase the right bindings?

No not really. Unless you're very young and very light. I've only ever heard about them in the context of them blowing up.

Squires are basically a hard plastic beginner binding, so they break. Lots of people go with griffons but i personally think they're really heavy and I messed mine up in less than a season. I have Tyrolia Attack 16's and love em. Super light, cheap, not as durable cosmetically but the important part is they still do their job.

I would have researched this before you bought them. I've never ridden them but they are not the best for park.. at all. At least they're pretty cheap so when (not if) you break them, you wouldn't have lost that much money

I got them for free because the ski shop owed me bindings so I guess we will see but wow that sucks

If they're not mounted yet sell them new in box for cheap and buy yourself a better pair. If they're mounted and break take them back to the shop and have them swap them for something better for free or at a lower cost, since the ones they gave you exploded. That's what my shop does at least

They are in the process of being mounted so I will take them back if they break.

Have owned squires. if you land switch and lose a ski, the brake will snap. Went through a lot of brakes until I got Tyrollia attacks. Get the shop to stock some extra brakes for you

They were junior look pivots, they wouldn't fit my weight anymore.

Same here. Look pivots are the same as FKS and heard nothing but praise about them. Bombproof, albeit slightly heavier vs jesters or griffons. I would keep the jesters since u already have them mounted. If they break, then get some pivots.

Forgot to mention the brake broke first but they were still skiable, then the whole heel piece broke 5 hours of skiing later.

I have never had so many double ejections upon landings....... Pro's are that the binding is light weight.

Dude Marker Squire bindings are the shittiest things ever. First day riding them last year I was on my 3rd park lap and I buttered them a little and they completely shattered.

biggest issue is they have no travel in the heel. you will pre-release a lot unless you crank the dins super high.
