Cork 720 Analysis

Hi Guys

As I'm currently working on my final paper for the Uni i need your help!
In my paper i'll thoroughly analyze the cork 720 in a professional way. In order to do so i need high quality videos of your cork 7's so if you have any i would love to see them.

Cork 7 is like doing a normal 360 within a cork 360 at the same time. Insert magical physics words here

There is only one axis to do a cork 7 on.

The air awareness we have as skiers is the ability to change our moment of inertia in a way that shifts our angular momentum to brings us back to our feet. Analyzing how the moment of inertia changes during the trick would be pretty intense but I want to see it. I love how the physics behind the procession of gyroscopes is the same concept behind the most aesthetic trick in skiing.

how come everyone does them different then... its an off axis 7 thrown back... you can do it flat or inverted or in between... or you could barrel roll the first 3 then corked the second or the opposite. Watch some edits, they're all slightly different.

Yes they are all slightly different but there is only one axis. That is the premise behind naming the axis cork. If it is a different axis, it has a different name. The style added or the timing of the fulfilment of the axis do not change the axis. Do it flat: Like a flat spin? Not cork. Do it Inverted: D Spin, despite it obv blending into one trick these days. Do a barrel roll to cork 3? A barrel roll (lincoln) is a different axis and therefore a different trick...a barrel roll. Not cork. However, if you could show me a video of someone doing this I would be stoked to see it.

Flat = Flatspin
Inverted = D-Spin or even Rodeo
in-between? = Bio (A forward corking non-inverted spin.)
With a barrel roll (Lincoln Loop) = Underflip/Overflip

None of your examples are corks.

They all look different because some people can cork 'more' than others, Some people have different body positions throughout which can make it look different.

As has been said, there is only one axis for a cork.

you're taking my examples to the extreme. I'm saying there are VARIATIONS of these type. you can do a cork 7 more or less on axis. some people dip a lot, others dip a little, and some dip earlier or later than others. I obviously know the difference between rotations ( like cork flat and bio etc.) I can double for gods sake I think I know my shit by know...

That is sick you can do a double. I wish I could do it while not on an airbag. But there is only one axis for cork, as it is an axis. But yes, people throw their own flavour on it and that is why skiing is dope to watch.
