As much as I would like you to get the hell out of my country, Canada is very unlikely to accept you. The path to Canadian citizenship is difficult. Essentially to be sponsored for citizenship by a Canadian company it must be proven that you are significantly more qualified than ANY Canadian applicant they can find - and they must advertise the job to Canadians for a period of time even after you are in their employ.

There are special allowances made for highly skilled employees in in-demand fields. If you're a surgeon, doctor, or high-level computer engineer, you will likely be awarded Canadian citizenship quite easily.

The third option is to marry a Canadian. Since you seem particularly dumb and do not even realize how good we have it here in America, you should set your sights on an overweight, ugly, slightly mentally impaired Canadian girl. Check out the WalMarts and McDonalds in large cities in Canada for your best odds. Good luck, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I'm not sure why posters are saying it'll be hard to get in - it can't be. Pretty much every Tim Horton's, A&W, 711, etc. here is worked by immigrants that I'm sure don't have any highly desirable skills. Same as the States.

The difference is just like here in the states, if you are trying to do it legally it is very hard. The numbers don't add up. Canada has a high number of US citizens trying to move to Canada. They can be selective. Would you rather except a nuclear engineer, or a pizza delivery guy? As a food service guy, you could probably get an under the table job, but you will never be able to become a citizen. That is until you knock up a lady friend.

It is extremely difficult to get into Canada while looking for a job. If you have a job that transfers you, thats about the only way. Canada offers great grants and benefits to work there. Its actually very competitive to move for work alone.
I saw it mentioned before, best bet is to knock someone up and hope you can stay.
They will also take you if you are extremely wealthy and plan to invest in Canada. Which if you were extremely wealthy, you would probably want to stay in America because you would get to utilize the benefits to the wealthy.
