mniceskierI was going to ask what the chances are for Breck and A basin to have decent skiing the first week of December. Outlook is obviously very strong...
LivingDaLifeEarly storms like this mean nothing for the upcoming season. Most of the snow will melt in the next week. Who knows what the weather will do? It could be good in December or it could still be primarily man made snow with little open.
ThaLoraxMy porch from my living room in Snowmass right now. Oddly enough, there was double this on my car just on the other side of my house.
Mike-Oit already gets pitch black around 7 PM.
ThaLoraxWell, you're gunna have to wait til spring for that one to get better.
Mike-OAs long as the ground is seared with white, it's an entirely different beast. Deep darkness is depressing, snowy darkness is refreshing (and gives a bit of light). Last year was complete shit snow-wise though, we'll see how this "climate change" is affecting us year by year. Gone are the October miracles of yesteryear.
.CJ.Central oregon is supposed to get about 6 inches again later this week. Hopefully it doesn't melt like it did 2 weeks ago
ThaLoraxYou better hope it melts for avy safety
