Replying to Skiing in WA

I'm about to apply to a bunch of schools, including UW. Even though skiing definitely isn't the most important thing I am looking for in a college, I was wondering how the skiing in Washington holds up against the Rocky Mtn. region.
I am mostly a big mountain skier, so any information about the steeps and cliffs in Snoqualmie, Stevens Pass, etc. would be much appreciated.
PS. Sorry for posting another college thread, I was only able to find stuff about park skiing when I searched.
