Getting control over upper body

I have been park skiing for a while now. My trick base is not bad (front 270, back 270, 720 etc). However today it was brought to my attention that I look like "a bit of a spastic". I was told this by a friend after skiing with him all day and the others in the park agreed. Is there any advice for me so that I can get my flailing arms and upper body under control. Much appreciated.

when i was young it wasn't bad but couldn't ski as aggressive as I do now.
being in good shape helps get a good core and legs.have someone film you on a groomer and see if your skiing weird.
pop and doing tricks right helps too.

When doing upright spins, focus on keeping your chest upright, only dropping it once you grab.

If you're talking about flailing your arms around try a couple runs with your hands in your pockets or glued to your side. You need to consciously be thinking about what your arms are doing then muscle memory will come eventually.

Thanks guys. I'll take the advice into account. I am already skiing with short poles, so I'll try the hands in pockets thing. Appreciate it!

flex your core, lean forward with your shins pressed against your boot tongues, keep your hands in front of you most of the time
All times are Eastern (-5)
