Hey how long does it take to get to your resort, and what do you do there and back on the bus, or whatever your ride is? Me,... i rode the employee bus,... good times. oh yes. i have a problem with long ski trips on buses with boys, hmm.... anyways ..... ya....

lemme think...all i know is soem lifties find it pretty damn hilarious to fart all the way up and stink the whole freakin bus up (it was 6 in the morning...we were all trying to sleep)...and then jen's dad passing people on the way up...interesting.

i use to have to take the ski bus up all ther time witch takes 2 1/2 hours. i would smoke with the bus supervisor in the bath room. now that i can drive up it takes and 1 1/2 hours.

yeah i just drove my car.. the worst of the memories were when my car couldnt make it up the schweitzer hill and we had to try to put jeffs chains on it, and finally ended up parking it at the bottom of the hill, making tyler, jeff and dave late for the comp... others include the penises drawn by JISM every single day all over my car... meh

its only 25-30 minutes. funny stuff that happened was a car was just sitting in one lane of the highway one time without any lights on and we almost slammed into the back of a tiny car in a suburban. nothing cool happens here.

Last Year: Me or my dad driving, PhattBevan in the back surrounded. Just random chit-chat coz the stereo is broken in my truck, skis in the back or on the roof. Other times with other mates: Little car full of smelly ski bums with skis and boards and boots and packs stuffed into every available space, incredibly loud punk music for the 3 hours to the base of the hill and then loud pump-yourself-up-for-skiing music on the way up the hill, all good.
This year: 5 guys stuffed in a car with skis and boards on the roof, video cameras rolling. First person to say 'I CAN SEE THE MOUNTAIN!' has to buy the first round of drinks, haha, loud music, must wear your goggles for the entire road trip, 4 hours, attempts at driving in ski boots, starting the car in 4th gear, always good fun, stuff like that, hha.

my drive is about an hour and 15-30 minutes depending on speeding and traffic. the stranget thing was when two of my friends decided to moon the entire town of Gold Bar as we drove through. that and yelling out the window at random people

it takes me about an hour to get my hill, my dad usually drives to, but this year im gonna be able to drive up. probably the scariest thing was when we were driving and this semi tried to turn in to our lane, got like within a foot and then corrected when he saw us and like swerved. it was scary shit. other then that, nothing usually happens

only 10 or 20 minutes depending on which hill I go to. Only shit that ever happens is slidding around on the icy roads getting the shit scared out of ya.
Last winter going up the big hill out of Tali some days was insane, Also all the hills around Thornbury, gets pretty dangerous at times, other than bad roads nothing happens..

It takes about 10 minutes. I usually anticipate how good the day could be and sometimes go into a rabies-like frenzy. That gets pretty ugly.

Oh yeah, last year I had horrible luck one day. Its more about the way home then on the way there.
I was going to the hill with two boarder friends of mine, driving my car. This was the hill closer to my house, not the school where I live most of the time. This hill is about 1 hour from my house. We drove their fine and the hill was alright. A pretty good day of skiing until I hit this fucking root on a sidetrail and totally fucked myself up. Just my face, lucky me. I snow burnt my face all really bad and have a huge scar on the inside of my mouth. I was bleeding alot. We decided to pack it up and head home, one of my friends was staying at the hill for a while and my other friend doesn't have his license cause he is lazy so I got to drive. When we got to the car it was fucking dead. The battery was toast. Some nice people helped us get some juice and when we went to pull away the car was stuck in the snow (crappy parking lot!)... so about another 45 minutes later we were finally going home. The stereo in the car wouldn't work becuase of anti-theft where the battery died. So no tunes for the long painful ride home... Such an unlucky day. A good memory though!

My hills only about 15 minutes away. the noly memeory was cloking a gargae can that blew into the street at the last second directly with the tire at 65 MPH. That was cool shit.

20 minute ride. Last year i usually hitched there, it's pretty easy around fernie. The only story i have from it was when this guy pulled over and said 'yah, just hop in the box, it's a quick trip' so i hoped in the box, looked up, and saw the cops right there, lights flashing. They let me off with a warning, apparently it's a $50 fine.

1 Hour to the shitty local hills. Nothing too special but there is always crazy shit when I go 2-3 hours on longer trips the better hills. Car to Car food fights, and making signs to other drivers is always fun!!
