Longer vs. shorter edits

Been sitting on clips from last season to make a self edit. Itll be my first one and I'm tryna decide if I drop most of my shots into it or just the Hammers.

Thoughts?

Just hammers, you'll loose interest if you make it too long. Think of the ski videos you watch and ask yourself if you'd spend 3+ minutes watching the one you made.

I like longer edits as long as they are packed with skiing. IMO filler should make up less than 10% of an edit

Do like an instagram edit and then have a full edit in your bio or something.

If you had to choose one, go with the shorter edit. I suck at watching more than 15 seconds of something or reading a whole paragraph before I scroll away from it. The Internet has ruined us.

If it's all bangers then longer the better - Example: Level 1 movie
If it's just little jimmy riding the new wave than 3 minutes will do

I would just release one or two shots at a time on Instagram. Make a long edit for yourself if you want to but no one has the patience anymore for a full edit

Depends how good you are honestly. If you have bangers in the first shots I'll stick around but if its its shaky go pro vid of a Kfed im bouncing

Really depends on the style of edit. If you have the shots to make a 5 minute melt your face off banger i.e. Sean Pettit's Full Part 2015, 8 minutes of nut, then make one. But if your shots are not nugs keep it short and sweet. The goal of an edit is to be left wanting more, I hate feeling like I'm just waiting for the video to end.

short edit 3 minutes or 4 max, some funny shit, some bangers and some wipeouts.
