Full vs Cork

Hey does anyone know if a full and a cork are the same thing.

cork is off axis. your feet shouldnt go above your head. back full is a 360 backflip

Full is completely inverted and no one does them except for comp jock mogul skiers and arealists. They are also probably the ugliest flip you can do on skis.

Corks are off axis spins that are oriented over the shoulder. They are also the most satisfying jump trick to watch imo.

DIRTYBUBBLEFull is completely inverted and no one does them except for comp jock mogul skiers and arealists. They are also probably the ugliest flip you can do on skis.

except for dylan ferguson. that dude's in his own realm tho.

They're different technically but very similar sometimes. People used to call it a d spin when they were totally inverted, which is a sick name lol but needlessly specific

But yeah a cork "should be" off to the side and not totally inverted

Those are straight d-spin. Aerialist and Mogul skiers do fulls. You can tell the difference between full, cork, and d-spin by the positions of the arms. D-spin and cork and are almost thrown with the arms as if it were upright. For full you start with your arms directly above the head and drop one arm according to how ever which way you spin.

did you watch the whole video? in one or two of the shots he throws a double back full (not sure of the correct terminology here but it was a straight backy into a back full.

Dylan was literally an Olympic aerialist.. he's doing a full on a park jump, so it looks a bit different then a full on an aerials jump. and Dad., I believe that its called a lay-full.. but yes, straight backflip to a full.


Hope that clears some things up.

PS- Dylan is a style god and is easily one of the best skiers that I know. /claim
