I don't believe anything opens earlier, Sunday river has the potential too but it's unlikely.

i believe sugarbush has an early opening compared to most mtns

I think that's true too, killington opens usually late sometimes even mid October. To my knowledge most places on the east don't do that except maybe sunday river.

Sunday river will usually try and compete with them, and also usually has a park the first day. Last year they were rebuilding the early season lift and had to delay opening for a month though.

Fuck the predictions man, that's not the reality of midwest preseason. The reality is checking weather forecasts thirty times a day in late October to see when the temps are finally going to drop below 32 degrees for 12 hours.

No its not #stopskiing Such an overrated expensive sport. Its not even gnarly, how does someone get hurt on snow its all so soft? Also totally doesn't take any skill whatsoever. So glad I stopped skiing forever sold my gear and used the money to take up underwater basket weaving
