Best place to live, work and ski on year off

this is my last year of high school and I'm super stoked to be done. Me and my friends were thinking of moving to revelstoke for our year off, but anyone have any other recommendations?? I do mostly big mountain but I do some park for fun too! Looking to compete a lil bit in FWQ events too.

Portland Maine. It doesn't have the best big mountain scene. But, sugarloaf is the best mountain i have ever skied on the east coast. And bracket basin is pretty amazing. In the summer there is also a ton to do. Surf, skate, cliff dive, mountain, and much more.

Word word. I don't know much about the Canadian side of things so I'll stay silent. Unless you're planning on not working or generally work in restaurants/bars(under the table as fuck). Canada seems chill though. It's just too hard for me to justify a work visa to do a season there.

i live in bend oregon its pretty cool, and youre an hour and a half from hood so you can get some summer days in when bachelor closes.
