After finally getting my order from a month ago today. (nothing was preorder they just fucked it up for the fourth time and I couldn't get what I wanted/ordered) Because they would not inflate my credit I told the guy just send me some cool shit, I dont care what it is. Now that I have opened it one of the items he subbed in was the new "blankets" it is just a sheet of fabric, a small one, printed on one side. They subbed in another stupid shirt I don't like and I'm pissed because I have spent so much money on them and they have shitty product and customer service. They delayed one of my hoodies a while ago, after that they over sold a different hoodie and had to send me a different one, then the vest and jacket I got (the zipper and a button) broke when I put them on, and now they fucked up the order again and sent me some shit I dont want. I feel bad because I told the guy send me something, surprise me but now I'm justed heated. so fuck jiberish and you stupid over priced designs. / end nonsensical rant

I agree. It's funny, I was in the Denver store earlier this summer before it closed and the guy in there said that they were trying to reduce the amount they produced, and sell for more affordable prices. My guess is they probably often had a lot do leftover stuff? But over I agree.
I have bought a few things this yr from them, but I definitely don't think it has the same brand that it was say, 6+ years ago.
I feel like it got more into the fashion side of things other than being a ski brand, but that's understandable I guess coming from a business perspective. Still, it's stupid overpriced and just another sweatshirt at the end of the day

RparrThe jiberish store in Park City is the dumbest retail store I've ever been in. Not a single thing had a price tag on it. Dude behind the counter would get butthurt if you asked him about prices and then didn't buy the piece you asked about.

I feel like if jiberish had as much “brand name appeal” as say north face, they would be able to break out of their niche and sell to more ppl. But most ppl (even on the chairlift) have no idea what jiberish is. And theres lots of apparel companies these days that make shit thats just as steezy as jiberish. Ive got a ton of zip up hoodies from champ sports goods that look just as sick as jiberish imo.
Dont know why they wouldnt just try and move back to making skiing apparel again. I mean their name is kinda makes sense if you are a skier. if you have no idea what "jibbing" is, the name kinda sucks.
All I can say is not a single person asks for it anymore at Slope Style where I work, which would be the one place in this world besides their boutique stores you would look for it haha

Damn, makes since though since most skiers I know say they left and joined the Hypebeast road. I feel like most skiers supported them because they were supporting the sport, and we’re supporting the top skiers. hard to support someone when you feel they left the sport.

$55 for a nice hoodie isn’t that ridiculous by any means
very different from their origins but I like the new direction a lot
^This. I remember buying my first Jiberish hoody for somewhere between $80-95. Now they're $55 and the quality of their hoodies (not Champion ones) is so much better than any other $55 hoody I've handled. In my mind, they are far from overpriced if you know a bit about apparel manufacturing.
Also, their Supima shirts are the most comfortable shirts I've ever worn, and given that, they're pretty damn cheap.
I'd also like to see a wider variety of silhouettes, but given their current production schedule where they're releasing new collections every couple months, I totally see why they stick to simpler designs with shorter lead times. Coming up with new patterns, sourcing new materials, trims, manufacturing, etc. for every collection when you're doing 6+ drops a year would be psycho for a smaller brand like Jiberish. They may not be a hugely skiing focused brand anymore (though I like that they're sponsoring cool, somewhat less known skiers), but there are way more customers in streetwear than just skiing, and sticking to a lean line makes a lot of sense when you don't want a ton of inventory sitting around, especially given the random, fad-oriented trends of streetwear.
I totally see why people on here are missing the old days when they were totally ski focused and sponsored a bunch of big-name riders, but looking at them as a smaller streetwear brand rather than some giant fixture of the ski industry, I think they've been killing it.

yeah y'all are just on a jib hate bandwagon. they still do good stuff for skiing but they have a limited scope because their business is so small. jib is basically a passion project at this point done by good dudes who care about nice apparel and support local skiers + some far & wide as best they can. their drops are still dope and it's nice how much variety they've got with graphics, still expensive but not prohibitively, pretty on-par for most apparel these days. keep an eye out for something you might like and consider supporting, it's all being put back into the type of skiing and style we all are fans of.

Totally agree. 2008-2012 was really their hay day when they had the level 1 collabs/big names on their team. Sad that they aren't as involved in the sport but they are obviously trying to get back to their roots a bit after stepping so far away
Their monthly drops are small but sell out almost instantly. My gripe is after all these years, and it has ALWAYS been a problem, the neck holes on the T shirts are way too loose. Some seem almost stretched right out the box day 1. The neck hole band needs to be thicker and tighter to a degree. Otherwise the supima cotton is nice.
