Squaw or Alpine Meadows for park

Just curious which has a better park and how the parks are in general.

Or if anyone knows any threads from the last few years on the topic I can just read that.

Alpine Meadows is more of the place to ski sweet pow when Squaw is overloaded with the Bay Area. The park hasn't been even close to adequate in the past couple of seasons.

Squaw's park is generally slow to get started, but once it gets close to spring time they step it up and usually build some big booters and sweet rail features, they even built a superpipe for the first time in a while last season.Every now and then the park crew gets real creative and builds some intense rail features.

Awesome. I love when you make a thread asking something, and the first person posts something in depth. Might throw in a backup application at squaw.

When I lived at Squaw they typically got their park going late. Don't know if that is still true. Park is not the reason to go to Squaw/Alpine, some of the best terrain in North America is. If park is your thing there are better places to go, unless lots has changed.

Will do. Idk if I'll work at either, Was thinking of applying as a backup but been chatting to some other places. Northstar is one of the spots I might work so I'd def come shred those mtns as well if i do,

Personally steeps, powder, and fast groomers. That said I ride park a bunch and work in parks for a job so the quality of the park/how the mtn views parks is really important for me.

Squaws park last year was prime for the most part (when they weren't digging it out and digging lifts out) with that said Alpines park was pretty fun and really easy to lap all damn day, but just not quite as prime as squaw's park on gold coast in the spring.

Alpine used to be way more fun but since Squaw bought Alpine their focus has been on the Squaw park. I'm a big fan of it.

ooh do squalpine if at all possible then dude. northstar has an amazing park of course but otherwise isn't noteworthy compared to the mtns around it, while squaw and alpine are top notch mountains and have pretty good parks too

Theyre pretty similar.. Squaw's jump line is more consistent...

Doesn't matter though. You don't ski either to ski park...
