Long-term ski bumming experiences?

I know there are some crazy people out there who made it work. Everybody was right, it is nearly impossible to limit a gap-year to one year, especially if high school was a bad experience. I don't have much confidence that I will make the college thing worth my money.
This living off of spaghetti, busting ass in the summer and working a night-job in the winter thing is fucking wonderful. I'm leaning towards doing this for awhile and working my way up at the resort and what-not.
Wanted to hear about some of your experiences living cheap and skiing every day!

Go ski bum for a while. Take a few years to figure your shit out then go to school if it's what you want. So many people rush into degrees they know nothing about.

mind i'm only 22 but have now done 7 winters (2 in NZ) my mind set has always been that if i was working a job outside of the ski industry i'd most likely be saving my money to go skiing 2 maybe 3 weeks a season, and not much else. Why would i do that if i can live in a ski town ski 100+ days a year and still get by comfortably.
The moment i stop thinking like that will be when i move home get a stable job and probably be boring as fuck.
