So I'm sure you all saw the whole Vishnu thing..

But now if you look at J Skis insta, they have pics of skis with bases that look a lot like Armadas font.

What is going on??

For all of you who think I'm making a bigger issue out of this than I am (which I'm not, I don't care what happens, I was just making a thread about similarities that multiple people have noticed), why would you want me to take it a step further by calling him??

VISHNUHello, I personally took the photo for the rug graphic and I doubt J took their idea for a graphic from Vishnu. JLev is a personal hero of mine, and although I would be very flattered if he did take inspiration from Vishnu, it was most likely parallel thinking.

Well said Parviz, this is Emmett typing now. J Lev is, in my opinion, a top 5 influential person in shaping the skiing world we live in today. If you disagree, you need to do your research and understand the gravity of his ideas and how they have impacted this silly sport we love. From Line MC's to giving Eric Pollard all the creative freedom he wanted to getting Traveling Circus going, to the Reactor binding (which was genius but way way way before it's time) the list goes on and on. Nothing but respect for J Lev and frankly i think the fact that V and J both have this graphic shows that we are on the right track trend wise and artistically speaking. So we should not argue about it and instead just get off the internet and make new graphics and clothes and videos and whatever.

Also wanted to mention that any shit talking done on the Vishnu instagram about this issue (and others) is very lighthearted and I assure you, our little butts aren't the least bit hurt. Back in my day, chirping in comments was what the internet was made for.

Really? Who cares? Honestly there are only so many fonts out there. At the end of the day an A is an A and has to look a certain amount like an A to be read. If you look hard enough I'm sure you can find several skis that have similar fonts on them, or similar graphics. Does it matter?

Weighing in, because fuck it. The J ski's business model is literally photoshop up whatever is popular on the internet, and paste it on a pre-existing model. SO it should come as no surprise that a J Skis topsheet may invariably end up looking like some other lazy ski graphic options
