As I'm sure you all know food at resorts and some ski areas can be mad expensive. Like many on the mountain I bring my own lunch, however I'm getting tired of eating ramen, soups, and mediocre sandwiches. Don't get me wrong sometimes some warm nuked soup is a prime lunch on a cold day. It just seems as though everyone who brings lunch is left with similar options, and that leaves me wondering are there creative lunch options we can stuff in our pockets? Or are we left confined to that shitty microwave in the corner?
Dude pepperoni rolls. Famous on the east, PA and WV resorts. Easy & cheap af to make. Pillsbury dough and pepperoni and pepper jack cheese. Lay that dough out, cut in smaller squares, add cheese & pepperoni and roll that bitch. Oven 350, bout 15 mins until golden. Stuff in your pockets or backpack. Best part is even if they smush they're still killer.
Brunost, salami, pepper and hummus sandwich is fucking prime. Otherwise I make reubens, leftover lasagnua, peanut butter and banana sandwich, and and apple.
In a hurry grab a couple of tortillas and pretty much whatever leftovers you have. Pull that out and bam you're making a gourmet wrap in the back of your hatchback. A ziplock of steamed veggies is killer so I try to steam extra veggies the night before I ski.
No listen OP.... Get a bag of popcorn and put it in your jacket. Once you are ready to eat lunch go pop the popcorn and grab some free sugar and sprinkle it all over the popcorn. You will be amazed.....
