Ski and surf College Opinions

Wassup everyone. I'm going into senior year and looking at colleges but having a hard time deciding. I love to ski but also surf and would like to do both. I would like to stay on the East Coast but open to any Cali or Washington schools. Any suggestions?

Lots of Extracurriculars
2x Varsity Athlete
Class President/ Honor Society President
Class Rank 5/125
I have credentials for most schools so fire away, right now I'm looking at these\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

USC,UCSB, UC Santa Cruz, university of Washington, u of Oregon, osu.

I'd take your sat's a few more times and try and up your score if you're shooting for any cali schools, but everything else is putting you in a good spot to choose any school you want,

USC would be my choice if I was in your shoes. That'd be a wild 4 years, plus they have a killer ski program

Check out colorado college. pretty comparable to Midd and Bowdoin

yeah they have a surprisingly good ski program at USC. Just really tough to afford for most people OP. Its like 60g a year which is just straight stupid.

I would definitely go there if i had the $/grades/whatever.

UCSB has a beach on campus which'll take take care of your surfing habit and the Ski Club owns a house in Mammoth that you can use on weekends.

What do you plan on majoring in? that makes a difference in the school. I ended up at UCSB. Some of the best surf and some nice looking ladies. The Ski and Snowboard club is very involved and you can get a fair amount of riding in. But it depends on what ya want to do. East coast is..... well the east coast. Live a little and get out of your bubble.

I'm thinking UNR might be one of the better ski/surf combo colleges out there.

Obviously you have Tahoe for skiing, but you're only 3 hours from the ocean, and if you drive 4-6 hours instead of just 3 you can find some really good spots. That can make for some sick weekend trips.

Planning on majoring in environmental engineering, only reason I haven't looked out West really is travel expenses to come home and shit

Basically any well established California university will have a great environmental engineering program. Especially Stanford.

Boulder has a great environmental engineering program too, but not much surfing there....

CU Boulder is the best school of all time you won't even miss surfing and you'll fucking love it. That being said I got to Montana State so thats always an option.
