Dynafit Beast 14s with demo track toe piece

Has anyone had any experience riding the beast 14s with a demo track on the toe? I can get them at a great deal but am a little skeptical. I'm worried that the track will decrease the ramp angle from heel to toe, putting me more neutral than I'd like. Also could the increased stack height allow for more lateral rotation at the toe piece? If they do suck can I just swap the track for normal mounting plate?

I have the Rad 2.0 ST Demos, which I believe use the same plate system. I don't notice the change in ramp angle, but I'm not ver sensitive to that (it's also like a 1-2 mm plate — it's pretty thin). Since it's so thin, I also haven't noticed any play or difference with the stack height.
As far as I can tell, you cannot swap it for a regular plate.

Hey Piste.Off - were you able to find out anymore about whether you are able to swap the demo toe piece for the "standard" toe piece on the beast 14? I'm actually in the same boat as you. I'd like to swap the demo toe for a standard one.
I've been tinkering with my bindings a bit and it actually looks like it might be possible to remove the rotational portion of the toe piece and put it into a standard one, but I don't have a standard toe piece to verify this hunch. If that doesn't work, I'm considering cutting the excess metal off the toe piece as there is quite a bit of extra.
