Skiing at Bucknell?

Since you seem to be considering some pretty rigorous and top tier schools, I would recommend you do not factor into your college choice unless you absolutely can't live without skiing.... Going to a school like that you are going to want to get the best grades possible and thats going to take a huge chunk of your time. You should choose a school based around what educational opportunities it has to offer and how does that correlate to your future aspirations and goals.

I would personally just work really hard during school, go be social and have fun. When you get home from school just literally ski as much as possible. I am sure you will have opportunities every once in a while to do some weekend trips but depending on your studies.

Thanks for your thoughtful answer. I am by no means looking at schools based on skiing. If that were the case I would apply to university of Utah and Colorado and be done with it all lol. It was more a question out of curiosity....if there happens to be other skiers where I am, then I know I'll have some like minded people. And skiing would also be a perk if two schools are really similar for example. Overall though, I know I won't have much time during the school year to ski (want to do engineering) so it has not factored into my school decisions besides just curiosity. Bucknell has a ski club but its mainly just for parties. they don't do much actual skiing.
