Swaps with wider skis.

How much does a wider park ski (96 underfoot) affect swapability. Not gonna lie I love my swaps but really want a pair of hg stinger's. 96 too wide for quick swaps?

don't sweat it, 96 is a totally normal park waist size nowadays. if youre a rail rat that skis a rope tow and hits nothing but rails maybe you wanna go 80s waist but IMO otherwise there's no reason to (speaking in the context of rails, at least. if youre a pipe or slope jock i can see why you'd want skinnier waist there too)

96 definitely isn't too wide for swaps. The thing I feel will help the most with switch ups is swing weight. On the site it says that it's a lightweight ski, although there isn't really other info besides that. I myself like to do switch ups and I've skied on Line TCs (93mm) and Afterbangs (88) and haven't really noticed a difference.

96 used to be wide-- the ARV was considered armada's go-to BC ski! same with other companies in terms of dimensions

If you go wide just surface. I would always surface on blends and its fun.

You're fine. I went to a 83 underfoot Moment Vice to a 95 underfoot Da Nollie and didnt have an issue. Surface swaps become twice more fun too

Unless you're tryna do triple swaps on 10 foot tubes you'll be ok. I learned my first swaps on blends which was nbd.

sorry op no more 1080 swaps, you'll be constricted to 540's and less with that type of underfoot.

It might take a little bit of get used to at first, but once you do you won't notice any difference at all.

i learned both switchups and both surface swaps on 109 underfoot. like other people said the only difference is high swing weight might make them come around a little slower

I think mine are 70 underfoot. 96 sounds like a BC width.
