im looking for a new pair of fatties, my surface outsiders are about to kick it.

these are my favorite skis ive ever ridden, but surface looks like its not going to be around anymore so i gotta get some new new. im looking for 110+ underfoot, hella rocker, true or close to true twin if any exist, stiff af, ~185. weight is not a huge issue for me. i was looking at the JJ2.0s but they seem pretty soft. was also checking out 4frnt just now but if theyre bringing the YLE line back its not on their site yet.
trying to keep the budget around $600-$650

6'1", abt 180 lbs, riding in big and little cottonwood canyons, UT. skier type III+ baby

Curious as well...been using the outsider in a 189 as my everyday ski last year and a huge fan of them. Was looking at 4frnt devestators, black crow atris, Candide 3.0's.

If you want stiff and rockered the Moment Meridian 107 or 117 might be worth a look.

And yeah, the YLE is gone. Devastator or Inthayne could also be worth checking out.

CT 3.0 is also a pretty good option. I wouldn't call it stiff af and it doesn't have a crazy amount of rocker but they hold up pretty well when pushed hard.

Kartel 108 should probably also be on your list.

I would look at bent chetlers, best pow ski I've ever ridden.

Moment governors or bibbys? Skiburger has some 186 governors for 600 and some end of season deals are going on at Moment right now so i think the bibbys are less than 600

4frnt hojis are a super solid pow ski, they are perfect for stomping big stuff into powder, but they might be a bit too soft for what you're asking for.

Coming from outsiders as well, you aren't going to find a ski as stiff. Those skis sure are fun though.
