Replying to Epic 4 Day Pass

So I am heading to Breckenridge around the end of January, it will be my first ski trip out west. I'm not really sure what to expect as far as lift ticket prices and deals that can be had. I will be on the mountain around lunch time Wed. so it would be possible to ski but probably not worth buying a full price ticket for the day. Definitely plan to ski Thurs - Sat.... the 4 day Epic is going for $420 right now and would probably go for insurance too which would make it $440, can equal or better deals be had later on or should I just get the Epic?
