Epic 4 Day Pass

So I am heading to Breckenridge around the end of January, it will be my first ski trip out west. I'm not really sure what to expect as far as lift ticket prices and deals that can be had. I will be on the mountain around lunch time Wed. so it would be possible to ski but probably not worth buying a full price ticket for the day. Definitely plan to ski Thurs - Sat.... the 4 day Epic is going for $420 right now and would probably go for insurance too which would make it $440, can equal or better deals be had later on or should I just get the Epic?

Prices will pretty much be the same and there really aren't any "deals" unless you have someone with a season pass with some extra buddy passes or ski with a friend passes that get you bit of a discount. Some of the other resorts here may offer discounted passes but you're not going to have a lot of luck with the Vail resorts.

Or buy that and ski at Keystone and A-basin unlimited days for less. Also gives half price tickets at Breck and the option to make other trips.

Thanks, guess $40 more than 3 day is worth the chance at skiing a little on arriving day. The resort wasn't really my call and I am from the southeast so didn't know Vail Resorts ticket pricing structure, I thought maybe you could find them outside of the resort for cheaper.... that was more of what I was looking for. Guess I know not to ask any other questions about Vail Resorts on here, haha.

breck is fun as hell, don't let that one hardo second guess shit. can't help you with the pricing stuff tho i havent been in forever
