Hi NS. Is there anybody who travel around North America, Europe, Australia, etc. by hitchhiking? I would like to try this so much. I dont know if is there a topic about that, but if you have experience with that, you can share it with us.

My Uncle is real into doing shit like this. He lives in Spain, and drove from there to Mongolia in 58 days. He said he only stayed in a hotel on 2 nights. Airbnb and youth hostels are convenient, but he just stayed in random people's houses that he met. Don't know how safe it is but Europe is a pretty mellow compared to the US

Ive hitched rides a bunch but dont mind taking busses, trains, or even flying when it's convenient.
It's not that hard to not get killed despite the hysteria that some people and your mom might say.
Def fun to meet up with people to find places to stay, rides to cool hikes, and people to hang out or drank with.

Just take buses. They are super cheap and will take you all over.
I have hitch hiked and met some awesome people, shared awesome food and drinks from it. I have also had some super sketchy situations like a guy who took me to a TERRIBLE place in Thailand and said he was leaving me there unless I gave him the equivalent of $100. I would have best case scenario, died if he left me there.
Also hitched a ride on a motorcycle to find out the guy was plastered. I was too so it made it fun.
There is no doubt you will come back with stories if you hitch hike.
