Hi gang.

Been on the Icelantic Da-Nollie's from 2013. I'm 6'1 about 175lbs. I'm looking to finally get new sticks this season and looking for something fairly soft in the nose, but stiff enough to bomb groomers. I basically never ride pow and I'm not a massive rail guy but I do jumps on occasion. I'm 27 and not in the mood to risk injuries anymore so I basically just ride with friends, jib, and occasionally throw park. So, I'm looking for something 85-95 or so underfoot at most. I have FKS 140's already, have a ton of proform connections, etc. I'm kinda OCD on topsheets...

My friend has Vishnu Wets and loves them. They are really soft in the nose and tails but solid enough under foot for fast groomers (acording to him). I ride 2016 Da Nollies myself and love them. I feel the same about the Da Nollies as my friend does the Wets.

I rode the 2017 frankenskis last winter(pink ones) and I absolutely loved them. They are super playful yet let me bomb down groomers, and even if you aren't gonna ride much pow they still handled really well in the sierra cement.

DaNollie to Volkl Wall would be an brutal transition. If you want a camber ski to rip GS turns in the park at 90mph then by all means go for it. I'd say the blends would be a good fit. I switched to ON3P this year and they make some dank skis. Check out some rocker skis by other companies and don't be afraid to try 95-105 underfoot. Topsheets are the least important part of any ski because they're eventually going to go to shit.

youre suggesting i go rocker / early rise? im really digging the blends to be honest. the da nollie's are traditional camber and i've been ripping on them for the last 4 years but lets say i keep them, i think the blends would be a good fit. I wish fatypus had some literature on their new stuff..always wanted to try the g butter

Never seen a negative review on fatypus skis, im pretty sure they are on sale right now to. I rode some l toros earlier this year and they were the flexiest skis I have ever been on, they probably arent the best for ripping groomers.

They changed that ski to be more rocker over the years. Almost any ski that you hear good things about will do you well. Just avoid cheap skis like the low end Lines and K2s, you get what you pay for.

Line blend all the way. Super soft tips and tails for butters, but you dont get any tip chatter on hard pack at all. seriously.
100 underfoot, good for everything. i have pow skis and park skis but i rode the blend 99% of my days last year. you wont regret it

Rode line blends for over 100 days, they were pretty sick for buttering around and park laps as well as beIng nice in 54cms of powder, however they aren't much of a charging ski and you did say you are only going to sometimes hit the park? Also you say your OCD about toosheets, yeah well there probably won't be much left since it gets eaten away quite quickly on the sides...only cosmetic tho.

ARV 96 or Edollo, if you are OCD about top sheets do some edollo zeros, super playful but still aggressive, with a clean topsheet.
