daannnnieelI've had some strangely vivid dreams recently, I got trapped under a garage that collapsed on me. I had one where my car got stolen, and woke up super bummed because I legit convinced myself it had been stolen the day before.

one of the weirdest ones was bride jumping, and realizing that I could breathe underwater.

daannnnieelit's really eerie until you realize that it's fine. my dreams literally scare the fuck out of me sometimes, i'm afraid of water and confined spaces and they seem to be recurring dreams I have.

.lenconOh fuck, then that sucks. It's okay though. My dreams fuck me up a lot. They've been better lately, but for a while I was having dreams that would just fuck with my mind.

Jesse_After counting fingers within a dream and having 6 I realized i was dreaming and became lucid, but I must have freaked out or something cause then I fell into sleep paralysis momentarily. Kinda freaked me out but it wasent too bad. Overall dream was cool, I was a character from a movie similar to freaky Friday where I switched bodies with the Japanese dude.

Mike-OI've been having a few recurring dreams lately that end up with me in my home, trying to swat two or three strange bugs that seem near invincible. No matter what you hit them with they seem to come back up and buzz towards my face and ears with determination. If you've ever encountered deer flies, imagine that to the power of 1000. And every time I wake up trying to swat one of those crazy ass shits away from my face, and it's a few minutes away from my alarm ringing.

I read a few cooky dream theories that bugs represent anxiety or stress, but fuck I just think I've got some PTSD from the flight of the ant queens coming up this fall, it's pretty hellish every year if you're on foot or biking.

So I guess I'll start. A few weeks ago a bought a new mountain bike that I absouletely love.

So in my dream last night I had a dream that I was demoing a bike that I've had my eye on before. This bike was white with blue, purple, and pink accents on it. There were unicorns and bears on the bike as well. It actually looked pretty sick. Anyway, this bike was super fun and I loved it even more than my bike that I actually have in real life. So I went back to the shop to see if I could trade my bike I just bought for this bike and they said no cause everyone wants that bike.

But yeah.. kind of a weird dream.

GrandThingsI'd always been able to slightly lucid dream so I recently read a bunch of articles about stuff you can do to make dreams more vivid/more lucid.

Every morning when you wake up, before you even get out of bed, record whatever you can from you dream. It can like be super detailed story or just a sound or a color or whatever you can remember. (I just use the notes app on my phone, but there are some apps specifically for this)

After about a week of this, my dreams became SUPER vivid and I can remember every little detail and could control everything that was going on in them. Pretty crazy and I deff recommend trying this to anybody who is interested in dreams/lucid dreaming.

taylornickyPretty cool! I'm wondering about how you feel in the morning after lucid dreamining. Like do you feel well rested or as if you didn't really sleep at all?

Jesse_In the few lucid dreams I've had I felt decently well rested. But I've heard you can start to become tired in the morning from continually doing them day after day.
