scratchskier321what do they measure underfoot?
freeskibum82whats the length on those? 181? this may be my next season's ski if so.
OldNJadedThey offered this years in 186 only. I know Rossi sent Tatum M a pair in 176 towards the end of this last season.
I'm sure if they made a few different versions they also have a variety in the sizing.
scratchskier321the ski in this post is not the pow ski, its a slat re-make in the b ops line... diff design than slat, I wouldn't doubt its actually less than 98 under foot.

freeskibum82Yes i know. but i still think its going to be 96-98 underfoot and in 181 length. At least thats what im hoping for.
Deepskier
It is 98 underfoot and offered in a 176 and a 186.
scratchskier321how do you know for sure? why would they make a park ski 186?
DeepskierBecause I have friends, and not everyone is a midget, 186 isn't THAT big for a park ski, not to mention it is on the all mountain side of the spectrum, there is a big market of all mountain skiers that this ski would be good for.
freeskibum82he's right. my nordica soul riders are 186 and do not ski long at all and handle all mountain well. i just wish they had more tip rocker like the that of the old slat. That is why this BO98 interests me. I did really like the 181 length of the slat but 186 would not scare me away from it.

DaBeersNope, Blackops 98 will be offered in a 181cm with a 191-192cm version coming later.

DaBeersIts called Blackops for a reason...
SofaKingSickguys, my inside man told me they come in TOP SECRET and TOP SECRET lengths, and they're TOP SECRET at the waist. for sidecut it just says "TACTICAL" ...?? anyway, give them your money!
DaBeersspot on, but for real the 98 is legit. I skied it for 2 months this summer and it rips. Super fun and has a lot more energy and pop than the Slat. Same waist width but different construction and shape.
Be sure to keep a lookout on the dark web for it this fall.

Deepskier"next time you clowns are looking for help or complaining about something on NS, remember this is how you helped out a younger dude looking for gear advice"
SofaKingSickhaha uh nice try dude but people have actually posted info in this thread... i said that^ in a thread where a newbie asked a gear question and 8/8 answers were listing nonexistent ski companies without one hint to the guy
DeepskierMan I live in gear talk and 9/10 times I'm helpful. So sorry post police I like to make a joke here and there.
BLACKOPS182 Length
98 Underfoot
scratchskier321how do you know for sure? why would they make a park ski 186?
.nastythe biggest thing that was wrong with the Slat is that it only went up to 181cm. It wasn't designed as just a park ski bud, more all mountain oriented than anything.
DaBeersIts called Blackops for a reason...
freeskibum82182cm length only it looks like if freezeproshop has the size right on their site.
https://www.freezeproshop.com/rossignol-black-ops-98-skis
Its also here on rossignol's site as a 182. so excited for this now that its official its a 182. http://www.rossignol.com/US/US/quivers-login.html?p=95117
Also, whoever posted stating 176 and 186 was wrong and those sizes are for the OG blackops and not the 98.

hot.pocket12 mm of camber underfoot dear lord
.lenconAlso, who got on a pair of BlackOps in the 118 waist in a 186? And how was it?
.nastyI skied em quite a bit the last couple years. They're pretty damn heavy but in turn that makes em tanks that will literally blast through anything. Stiffer than one would think for a backcountry jib ski but it helps to stomp all landings. The only drawback was the weight making them something you wouldn't wanna spend a full 9-4 pow day on haha
DeepskierJust do your squats and eat your Wheaties and you'll be golden
.nastyI’m usually the one telling people that. Haha Seriously, go actually ski and you’ll know what I mean.
