Right now i'm looking for some skis for the 2018 season, and i'm considering getting a pair of Rocky Mtn. Underground Rippah's. They fit within my price range, are lightweight and have a short turning radius (which i prefer for carving), but since i'm a beginner at skiing park, i'm not sure they will suit me well. My main concern is that, because they are so light, they might be too sensitive for a beginner like me, which i learned is the case with the Amplid Syntax. Because the Syntax seems to be a similar ski to the Rippah, and because there are very few reviews online regarding the Rippah, i can't get any indicators whether they would be a good option for me. So, do any of you guys have any past experience with the Rippah or some help you can give me with deciding on whether they will suit me? Also, feel free to suggest some beginner park skis below.
Some things that might be important:
-i'm 6'1, 155lbs
-beginner in the park (still learning to hit rails), but intermediate-advanced in carving
-ski in the northeast area
-looking for a park ski up to $500 that can make my grind a little easier but still allows me to ski groom without a problem
