MacBook pro or MacBook air or something else?

NebraskySo what did you end up getting? Time is short and I must decide between a macbook pro or a surface pro.

I got a Macbook pro. I wish I would've looked more into the Zenbook pro though. The specs look outstanding, and on Amazon it was (is?) a little less than the lowest base model MBP. So definitely something to check out

mike759Get a Razer Blade Stealth. It's thin and has enough power for video editing, just ignore the gaming PC label.

this proves my point in a few posts above...despite a .8" smaller screen, this computer is roughly the same size and weight of a 13.3" MBP, yet it has a weak 15w CPU (equivalent of what a macbook air uses), worse battery, worse graphics, worse trackpad...be careful about what type of i5 and i7 you're actually getting, they really vary
