Price of large PVC Tubes

Roughly, how much would a 10-12" by 10-12' pvc tube cost At a plumbing store? FYI i would buy this at a PA store

I would guess between 150 to 200 dollars, and they usually sell 16 foot sticks as a standard length because one end has a bell and gasket for fitting end to end

I haven't done it myself but I know people usually go ask construction workers if they have any spare pvc pipes they won't use and get them for free. If that's not an option, a cheaper alternative is to build a double barrel rail with 1 inch black pvc pipes, I believe these go for aout $10 per 12 foot pipe

That's probably good advice. The really expensive PVC is green, and the blue stuff weighs an absolute ton and costs a mint, but the point is those are for putting in under roadways, the pipe walls are thick and it's rated to have trucks drive over it all day. No point for a rail IMO buy cheap ABS and if it breaks one day buy another one.

Where the fuck are you guys shopping are you buying designer pipes? 10 foot 6inch pipe is like 10-20 bucks at lowes or home depot, 1 or 2 inch is like >10$ for a 10 or 20 foooter.

2inch diameter pipes are like $3.50 at lower for 10ft, I bought 6 of them and slapped 2 on each rail for a double barrel. I also have a 10inch and 8inch diameter pipe each 10ft that I asked for. I got both for free, one legally. Go out and search new housing developments, they always have something there.

I used to have a 20ft 12" diameter pvc pipe that I bought on Craigslist for $125. The guy even delivered it to my house which was dope cause it weighed about 250-300lb. So worth it.

Typically pretty cheap at Home Depot. You in Pittsburgh? You could pick up some of the 4" tubes I have laying in my parents backyard.

if you want a tube style rail get a plastic corrugated conduit...its usually way cheaper and slides alright.

Always been tempted to just sneak into a construction site and "borrow" some of the 6" wide tubes they have laying about. New houding developments seem to be prime time as it's usually not busy, intended, and there's always pvc laying around the new houses being built. Anyone done this?

In ten years I have literally never worked on a job site that didn't get robbed. What can you say, people love meth.

But seriously you will get more free shit than you can shake a stick at by walking on and ASKING what they don't need. If it's extra they are paying to get rid of it. I don't understand why people it is okay to steal, that's not cool.

6 inch is wayyyyyyy cheaper. Like someone else said, about $20 for a 10 footer at Menards or whatever stores you have there. 10-12" is gonna be painfully expensive

2 years ago, me and my friends "stole" a spare pvp pipe, it was like 6 or 7 meters (20-24 feet) long and weighted a shit ton. Don't know how much that would cost but it was laying around on the local school's area for 2 years so we took it lmao.
