Replying to Militia Skis Hype?

I heard that a lot of PC kids are using these. It's supposed to be some new "core" brand and they are doing preorders which is something I've never believed in. It also seems to be their first year of production so I don't understand how people already have their hands on these if they don't have sponsorship benefits. I checked out their website and they have two models the all rounder "Omniski" and the park charger the "Galaxski". I read their NS article too and they seem to have a good idea driving their company with all the zero markup, giving to the ski community, "taking back the mountains" and all that, but I still don't understand what the hype is about. They say they're prices are at basically "zero markup" but something like a Volkl Ledge or Line Tigersnakes or K2 Press must be better since they've had years and years of development, not to mention that the $ of engineering going into their making are much higher.
