Replying to Backcountry Whistler

Hello NS.

I'm from Denmark and my friend & I are planning to move to Whistler BC, for approx. 2 winter seasons, and looking for a bit of help. We just finished our educations, and are both 20 years. We will start our journey october/november.

We haven't done a lot of research, but we don't want our skiing to be limited due to restrictions to backcountry skiing, as well as drone policies (the drone is not as important to our decision tho) - We've read that drones aren't allowed, does this mean at the resort only, or can we take it on our backcountry adventures? And is backcountry allowed at Whistler, what about outside of the resort?
