gone apparently. Although there have been pics surfacing of a Black Ops 98, which, if produced, would essentially replace the slat.
Deepskier^ The blackop 98 will be replacing the slat, won't be as out there as the slat was to remain the black ops title.
JWillySkeezIDK if this is but from what I've seen it seems that they are moving their freestyle skis under the Blackops name.
ShireRatTalked to p-white on insta about the new black ops 98. He said that the skis are less rockered, with more pop, a subtler tip and tail profile, and significantly lighter than the slat was. Basically a more refined version of the slat, which felt like the ski equivelent of a 8.5 popsicle skateboard deck. He also said they will be doing a limited release on them this fall, similar to last years release of the black ops 118. My only hope is that they bulked up the tails, because I, and many others snapped the fuck out of the tails on our slats.
